The theme for October’s Ipsy Glam Bag was spellbound. Fitting for the month of Halloween. My October bag was full of treats and one trick. I liked the majority of my items. The bag for the month is chic with a red lace look. The little bat on the zipper is too cute.

This is one sexy eye pencil. When Urban Decay says glide-on, they mean it. This liner applies smoothly and with hardly any pressure. The color is super rich and smudges easily for a smoky look. Once it settles on your eye this liner stays in place. I forgot I was wearing makeup one day and itched my eye. No issue at all. My liner didn’t budge. No complaints from me on this product.

Lip Balm in Vanilla by Cute Balms

On the first impression, I was in love with the packaging of this balm. Macarons are one of my favorite sweet treats. Luckily, this item isn’t all looks and no substance. The balm has a pleasant light scent. It wore well on my lips and did a great job locking in moisture.  My only issue is that the website was lacking in even the most basic information. Things like the unit weight and ingredients should be listed. Even for a new company like this one. Customers want to know this information before buying.

This review will be short and sweet. This cream works. It’s First Aid Beauty and they can be trusted to deliver high-quality skin products. This is no exception. It’s fantastic that Ipsy offers the cashback option. Saving money on a great product is nice.

Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara by TARTE

Another treat from Ipsy. This mascara is amazing. The brush separates my lashes so well, making them look voluminous. The formula is excellent and seems rather gentle. My eyes get irritated very easily by mascaras, so when one doesn’t itch my eyes, I’m excited. I like this mascara most on my bottom lashes.

Freematic Highlighter by DOUCCE

This is the only item from my glam bag that I didn’t care for. I’m not a huge fan of highlights and this one didn’t appear too outstanding. I’ve received better highlights from Ipsy in the past. Also, finding information on this product was annoying. If I did like this highlight, I would be extremely ticked off. Ipsy says the original price of the highlight was $20 and with the cashback, the price goes down to $14. If you go to the DOUCCE website, it lists the highlight at $14. I don’t know where the mix up came from, but it’s annoying to think you’re getting a special discount only for it to be available to everyone. At least Ipsy has a unit weight listed on their site.
